Goal 6. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

The Imperial Hotel is committed to its responsibility in reducing water consumption and its overall contribution to pollution inputs.

We are currently installing pressure compensating water systems and aerators into all areas of the hotel

 We are replacing our glass bottled water in our bedrooms with Tetra Pak water. Tetra Pak water packages are mainly made from renewable resources that are responsibly sourced and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, reducing overall impact on the environment.

 We also have in place Echo 3 water filtration systems, using refillable bottles in all our meeting rooms and staff areas

 We promote the reuse of towels in all our Bedrooms

 Our Cleaning Products are all sourced from Diversey who have been offering Green Seal certified solutions to their customers for over 15 years.  Green Seal is a global non-profit whose certification mark is a universal symbol that a product, cleaning service or facility meets the highest benchmark of health and environmental leadership.

We are investigating the opportunity to start rainwater harvesting. An easy and economical way to become more environmentally responsible. Leading to eco-conservation and constructive use of natural resource. Can be used to supplement water into storage tanks for showers or used for cleaning purposes.

 Water Consumption has reduced by 27% in 2022 over 2019, We expect to achieve an overall reduction in water consumption for the year 2022 over 2019 of 22%

Total CO2Kg / Person / Day has reduced by 21% in 2022 over 2019, We expect to achieve an overall reduction in CO2Kg / Person / Day for the year 2022 over 2019 of 18%
