Every member of staff was so wonderfully helpful, friendly and professional. We received many compliments from our guests about how welcoming and friendly you all were to them. Lynda was a dream to work with. Every email (and I sent a lot!) was answered quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble and she never made us feel like we were a nuisance (though I bet we were!) Every little detail was discussed via email and every question was dealt with, no matter how small or trivial! To a bride (and groom!), that means an awful lot. It was so lovely meeting Lynda and going through the last few details the month before the wedding. Arriving with a list of 25+ questions didn't put her off! We knew straight away that we were in very good hands and all the finer details would be taken care of! Lynda thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us. You really went above and beyond. You are a treasure 💎. We wish you every success for your bright future.

Firstly can I say we adored our day and that was in no small part down to you guys. We felt no stress whatsoever during the drinks reception and meal. You guys really had taken all the organisation and responsibility out of our hands and it was just lovely to show up and be present with our guests. At no point did we feel rushed or that we had missed out on something. The food was divine and the atmosphere exactly as we had hoped.
As with all days I imagine things don't go totally according to plan but you guys kept everything ticking over and just touched base with us. It was fantastic.
The décor was beautiful and the overall vibe from start to finish was just a joy to be a part of.
I loved your suggestion of a few minutes upstairs for canapes just the two of us when we first got back. It was probably my favourite moment of the day. The penthouse and rooms were beautifully presented and we really appreciated the help from the porters throughout our stay. The drinks reception was perfect. Everyone remarked on the fact that they had a number of drinks and got a few bites so all very happy.
The kids room was a roaring success! As a couple who love spending time with family, looking after our smallies was a big thing for us and I have to say the space and the care the kids were given was astounding. They all had a total ball and it meant alot to their parents and us.
The set up for DJ and band was seamless and we loved that tables could stay put so we felt the room worked really well. Finally, the staff. The kindness and efficiency of the staff we dealt with over the few days was astounding. Every single person we dealt with was an utter joy. Nothing was too much to ask and we really felt like we were being looked after- so much so we didn't want to leave! My family are already talking about coming back next Christmas to mark the anniversary.

Thank you so very much for everything, we had the most wonderful day. The whole weekend we felt like we were everyone's top priority, all of the staff we dealt with were brilliant. Everyone who stayed in the hotel complimented the rooms, all of our guests felt so welcome. Jack and I felt like royalty. No request was considered to be "too much" and for that we are so grateful. You made things easy, everyone did.

''I was lucky enough to choose The Imperial for my wedding this year. From beginning to end everyone was so professional and friendly. From early on in the process there was someone on hand in both events and reservations to answer all of my queries day and night. I always dealt with the same people and the service was so friendly and personal it was really reassuring – we always felt we were in good hands. Every time you set foot on the premises you are treated like a VIP. Lynda and Jim in particular were always on hand to assist us whenever we needed it. It was great on the day to be surrounded by those people that you were familiar with and no request was too big or too small. All the little details that I had requested over the months leading up to it (and they added up to a lot) were taken care of. It feels like you have your family and then the Imperial family there with you at your wedding. ''

’’We got married in The Imperial Hotel and definitely had the best day of our lives. From the first day we met Lynda, the wedding co-ordinator, she made us feel so excited. We were always reminded by her kindness and charm during all of our meetings that we’d definitely made the right choice too.
On the day of our wedding she definitely didn’t let us down either. The food was excellent, so many of our guests commented on its quality. The venue was perfect with such a lovely flow from the entrance hall, bringing us into Souths Bar before finally sitting for dinner in the ballroom. James and his staff took over then with the same enthusiasm and professionalism we had received from Lynda. He was brilliant too, ensuring everything was so perfect for us. We wouldn’t have changed a thing.
The Imperial Hotel staff were second to none and left no stone unturned. From Christy in the foyer (a total gent) to the ever available concierge (I didn’t get his name), to Lynda, James and their teams we cannot thank you enough. You made our day so special and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Our time in The Imperial was fantastic and it is a place we will only have the fondest of memories of.
We will definitely be back down to visit and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue for anyone who maybe interested. However, only consider it if you’re looking for something that’s going to beyond your expectations. The hotel and staff here don’t seem to settle for anything less.

‘' Lynda thank you so much for everything in the planning and execution of the wedding, we really appreciate all that you have done for us in making our day so special, everything seemed to run so seamlessly and the timings meant that we got maximum enjoyment from the day and weren’t left waiting. The wedding car was a lovely touch and all the little details like the red carpet, prosecco on arrival and the decor in the room made us feel very special. All of our guests were so impressed by the venue. The room was beautiful and I still can’t get over the quality of the food, easily the best wedding food I have eaten! Our day 2 celebration in Souths was lovely and relaxed and the finger food was delicious. ''
