Head Concierge

I manage a team of porters and our job is to ensure guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous manner, that all luggage and personal belongings are handled with care and securely stored, any special requests from guests such as restaurant reservations, theatre tickets, local attraction recommendations etc. are catered for and that function rooms are correctly set up for events.

The concierge team are one of the first members of the broader Imperial team that guests interact with upon arrival at the hotel. I take great pride in enhancing a guest’s stay and welcoming both new and returning guests. Throughout my 30 plus years as an employee of The Imperial Hotel, I have worked across several departments and have a deep appreciation for all things hospitality related.

My Father, Donald, was Restaurant Manager at the Imperial for 47 years and it is here that he met my Mother, Breda.  You could say that the Imperial is very much a part of our family!

In 2014 I went back to college to study Employment Law and Employee relations. In 2016, I was elected to the National Executive Council of S.I.P.T.U. for a six-year term.
