At present, I am responsible for the front desk team. We are more often than not the first point of contact with new and returning guests to the hotel. Therefore, customer service and experience are key priorities for us. Luckily, I work with a team who are passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences.

I am originally from Kilkenny but living in Cork for a couple of years now. You could say that hospitality runs in my blood. My grandmother initially owned and operated The Park Hotel in Dungarvan. My father and uncles now manage the Flynn group between them and have expanded the portfolio to four hotels in four locations across Ireland. 

When it came to selecting a career path, there was no question as to what area I would pursue. In 2008 I began my diploma in Hospitality from GMIT and in 2011 I undertook a degree in hospitality from Les Roches University, Switzerland.

I have worked in various positions in the hospitality sector. In 2009 I worked as a chef in O Grady's on the pier, Barna, Galway. In 2010 as a waiter in Castle Hill Inn and Resort, Rhode Island, USA. In 2012 as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in the Four Seasons resort, Seychelles. In 2015, as Guest Experience Manager in the Intercontinental Hotel, Dublin before I returned to the Flynn group in 2016.
